Superman #73 (Continuity problem)

Superman #73

Well, this is one of those ridicously expensive issues, and it's not for waverider joining the linear men, nope... it's for just one page... that's all, the Doomsday page that makes this month more expensive to get that all the Death of Superman saga.
Anyway... something I didn't like about this issue was that Jurgens "forgot" that Matthew Ryder's Parents were supposed to die the day Monarch attacked. (Or at least his father). While in this issue he repeats several times that he and the new Matthew Ryder had the same life until college.
Personally... I can live with that, Jurgens and Waverider are wondeful mix but... yet... I say to myself this is one of those anomalies from Zero Hour :p

So... is he really back?

After DCU #0... the final left us thinking if certain speedster is back...
We have mainly two options, but... we all know for sure it's him... Barry Allen.

I'm not a fan of "elseworlds", specially when they were so common. But this is one hell of a book. It's plain simple. Kal-El was discovered by Thomas Wayne, and the story went on like we know. So Kal-El became Bruce Wayne and later he'd became Batman.

Bruce Wayne meets Lois (sparks), and Luthor is a mix between Luthor, Joker and Penguin.

Anyway... it's kinda cool, but it's not very deep though. This story won the Comic Buyer's Guide Fan Award for Favorite Original Graphic Novel or Album in 1993.
