Detective Comics #654, 655, 656

Well, well... What can I say? Dixon surprised me again.

This was the time when Grant and Breyfogle went to Shadow of the Bat, so Dixon and a couple of artist took Detective Comics. Graham Nolan in general, but this 3 chapters were made by Netzer (who was in Detective a long while actually... like... 10 numbers or so).

This is the story about a boy named "The General", now, I met this character during Dixon's run in Robin, but this is the origin. And I gotta say that I thought Netzer wasn't good enough for this title and I was wrong. There are a couple of splash pages, I know... But... he's good. You don't get bored. I recommend this 3-issue story, mostly because of Dixon, and his skill to tell a story with ease.
